ChiCurious is a mutual aid collective striving to alleviate the trauma of folx fleeing red areas into Chicago due to gender related attacks. We are a collective of community members seeking to offer support in the form of temporary housing, food, storage, driving, medical care, mental health care, and peer-to-peer support directed towards helping to ease the burden of transition to a new place. Through a robust network of relationship building with organizations nationwide with aligned missions and goals, we are continually meeting new people, forming new bonds, and working to strengthen the network that holds us all together.
